  1. I was born on February 28, 1901.
  2. I was an American chemist, biochemist, chemical engineer, peace activist, author, and educator.
  3. I published more than 1,200 papers and books, of which about 850 dealt with scientific topics.
  4. For my scientific work, I was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1954 and for my peace activism, I was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1962.
